The Vallespir is a green, wooded valley, bordered by the majestic slopes of the Canigou massif to the south and the Albères massif. It stretches for around thirty kilometers from the source of the Tech River to Céret, the charming town nicknamed the "gateway to the Vallespir," where the Roussillon plain meets the mountains.
Following the path that leads to the campsite 'Le Mas d'en mas', after about 500 m you will inevitably come across one of the most remarkable buildings in Céret, or even in the whole of Vallespir, Aubiry Castle or Château d'Aubiry how the locals call it.
